Desk: Dose of Design

Dose of Design desk

We loved Dose of Design's transparent twist on desk. 'Dose' is an interior designer, graphic designer and magaziner editor, and from this image, you can immediately pick up on the breakneck pace her career keeps her on. In her words:

Here is a pic of my office/desk exactly as it is, I did not change it, prop it, or clean it up for the sake of a "prettier" pic. It is an honest view of my desk and sadly how I work!

Not sad, just realistic! Design is found in the crevices of everyday life. You will quickly determine where chic exists: the yellow roses (print or painting?) on the top left corner of the bulletin board; chippendale chairs on the inspiration board; warm yellow upholstery on darling French chair; lucite lamp and sunburst mirror.

I just can't tell you how grateful I am to see a messy desk. My desk is constantly a collage of piles.
The world is divided into pilers and filers. There is no antidote if you are a piler. Thank you for featuring a successful piler.Successful in the art of piling, but also quite successful in her business life.
Long live pilers!

My most favorite accessory shown here is the bottle of Advil.

This looks exactly like my own desk.

My desk is larger but looks almost the same(except I have toys here and there)! I thought I was the only one who worked in such desk drama!

I love that this is a true-to-life photo of her work space. As much as I enjoy the polished photographs of living spaces, it is nice to see how people really work (just like me)!

Code Name

My mom and my aunt have a code name for rooms or areas of the house that look like that. "Delishious" and now I understand why. It kind of looks like my closet. Although I have to say I envy why you have a desk that looks like that.

I love seeing someone honest enough to just show their desk the way it truly is.. but I am wondering what the bottle of ketchup is for?
